The HBO series Game of Thrones' Daenerys Targaryen was represented by actress Emilia Clarke, who recently talked about the two brain aneurysms she experienced while filming the series.

Ms. Clarke said in an interview with BBC One's Sunday Morning that she had endured two brain aneurysms between 2011 and 2013.

Emilia spoke on BBC Sunday Live over the weekend, saying that the impact of her health condition made it "amazing" that she was able to live the life she did. Surprisingly,

I can speak - sometimes eloquently! - and live my life fully regularly with no consequences, she said, considering how much of my brain is no longer functional.

"I am in a very, very, very tiny fraction of individuals who can withstand that." Emilia stated that brain scans revealed "quite a bit missing," adding, "Which always makes me chuckle.

" Emilia founded the nonprofit organization SameYou, which strives to "change the way brain injury survivors and their loved ones are supported via emotional, mental health, and cognitive rehabilitation programs," in addition to her acting profession.

As a show of support for Emilia and the rest of the cast after the outcry over the contentious Game of Thrones finale in 2019, fans banded together to donate £30K to the organization.

According to the Independent, Ms. Clarke's memory has not suffered long-term consequences. However, she apparently suffered from aphasia following the aneurysms, and at one time was unable to recollect her own name.

She has, however, put her personal medical problems behind her and accepted her present health situation.

According to the 35-year-old, "'Well, this is who you are,' I thought. This is the mind you have.' So there's no use in racking your brains over what could or might not be there."
